Nigerian crossdresser James Brown penned an open letter to his colleague, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, who recently faced legal issues with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Despite speculations linking Bobrisky’s arrest to his crossdressing, the EFCC clarified that it was related to allegations of currency abuse and money laundering.

In his second commentary on the matter, James, who himself faced scrutiny and arrest in the past, expressed empathy towards Bobrisky’s situation. Reflecting on his own ordeal and stating he wouldn’t wish it upon anyone, friend or foe, James extended his support to Bobrisky. He emphasized his willingness to assist Bobrisky in any way necessary, urging him to stay strong through the challenging times.

James Brown’s open letter, shared on his Instagram page, conveyed sympathy and encouragement, acknowledging the difficulty of Bobrisky’s situation. It reflected a sense of solidarity and compassion amidst the complexities of their shared experiences.

James Brown wrote, “[LETTER TO BOBRISKY]

I was Deeply saddened to hear about your tremendous current situation. It’s incredibly unfair that you’ve been locked up. Please know that you have my support and sympathy during this difficult time.

I I can’t imagine how challenging it must be for you. I can vividly remember what went through while I was there, not to talk about u being transgender. It’s not easy, but just be strong and fight your best.

You will come out stronger and better but I want you to know that I’m here for you. If there’s anything I can do to help, don’t hesitate to reach out. I am sending you strength and positive thoughts. Stay strong! With heartfelt condolences, [JAMESBRROWN].”

He captioned the post, “I won’t wish my experience upon my friend, not talk of my nemesis.”
