SUBEB, Kwara State Indigenous Contractors & Suppliers Are Not Fraudulent, Debunk Fake News & Rumours (Read Details)

Indigenous Contractors and SUBEB: Our attention as members of Kwara State Indigenous Contractors and Suppliers Association,has been drawn to negative writeup by various bloggers on the above subject,we would have dismissed the writeup as malicious publication but decided to put the records straight for convincing enlightenment of the general public. It will be recalled that on 16th September,2021,we addressed a press conference where we explained in details why the then president of the Association,Alh Mashood Atanda Aigoro was suspended along with both the Vice and Secretary for fraudulent conducts. Aigoro who was religiously counselled by the Elders of the Association but refused to yield to their advice lately realized that justice has caught up with him and that the best he can do is to buy certain people in the media to blackmail the State Government through the State SUBEB. Kwarans in the life of this administration are convinced about the workings of the governor that he will not engage himself in any fraudulent acts how then will any of his appointee does ? The governor is working round the clock to ensure accelerated development of the State which has eluded the State by the past Administrators. Here is a governor who has engaged himself in payments of debits owned by previous Governments including backlog of counterpart findings, salary and pension arreas,among several other of such payments,no doubts such a person will not engage himself in fraudulent activities to enrich himself. Aigoro defrauded members of the Association various sums of money and the defrauded members have since taken legal actions,the one in court is just one out of many,others are under going legal procedures that will eventually lead to court of law soon. On our part as Association of Contractors and Suppliers,all our members particularly those we allowed to bid for contracts from the Government have all required papers not limited to just CAC certificate. And so far the sixtyfour VIP TOILETS given to us by the State Government has been professionally handled as non of our benefiting members was found wanting. We therefore urge the media particularly “Freshinsight and Dailylinks.ng” to please try their best to crosscheck facts from us before rushing to social media to give halfbaked information to the public as done in the recent publication of “Dailylinks.ng titled- ” SUBEB contract scam: Kwara Indigenous Contractors’ President dragged to court”.
