Whatever Odumodublvck says in Declan Rice is giving everything it’s supposed to give. Declan Rice by Odumodublvck: a vibe phrase meaning “loud and clear!” Purr!

When they say clarity and succinctness make good neighbors in practically everything. Odumodu came with a more clear intro to Declan Rice song because he couldn’t agree more. Nah, look at what he did there:

Intro

“Black sheep for life, black sheep forever (Ayy)

Izgaaju till we kpeme, Antiworld gangsters (Ayy)

GE records, you get me? Odumodublvck (Ayy)

(Hey) I know (Carry waka, carry waka), I know (Who dey check am? Who dey breath?)

NATIVE…”

Declan Rice by Odumodublvck Review: A Hit or Miss?

Several statements were made with this Declan Rice by Odumodublvck song, yet they were subtly—made— so! And speaking of subtleties, first off, take a look at the title of the song: “Declan Rice.” Declan Rice is the name of a 24-year-old English professional football player, who presently plays for the Premier League club, West Ham United, and the England national team.

Born in Kingston upon Thames, England, the Defensive midfielder Declan Rice is, by implication, Odumodublvckʼs idol. Odumodu was clear about his love for Rice hence the title. And because of how clear he was, Declan posted a video of himself vibing to the song. What do they say about “G.O.A.T recognizes G.O.A.T,” again?! Well, you could tell your friends more!

Tochukwu Ojogwu isn’t afraid. With Declan Rice by Odumodublvck, you could tell that the Declan Rice crooner is a hitmaker who isn’t afraid of taking over the industry. By and large, he could be in his genre if he continues on this part. Talk about Afro Grimes and Afro-Drill genres, another G.O.A.T is upon us for real.

G.O.A.Ts and how they recognize each other. Davido of 30BG, Wizkid of the FC, and Omah Lay of purple love are some of the G.O.A.Ts who have recognized Odumoduʼs G.O.A.T status.

Let’s talk about how he strategically followed up his intro with the chorus. Chorus be giving resilience, worthiness, strength, persistence, and fire to succeed at his craft regardless of adversities & obstacles he may face while journeying into that spot. Here goes:

Chorus

“I can do without their policy, I go

I must fall in with all my niggas abo

If them wanna bounce person, it cannot be mine

Men just boku, e be like them be rice

I can do without their policy, I go (I go ooh)

I must fall in with all my niggas abo (Abo)

If them wanna bounce person, it cannot be mine (Mine ooh)

Men just boku, e be like them be rice…”

In general, Declan Rice by Odumodublvck passed the message it was intended for. The poetical representation of his concerns and events was top-notch. Talk about the Songwriting, Sequencing, Production, Delivery, Enjoyability, and “stream-worthiness,” all clear and worth every credit it’s getting.

Meanwhile, the outro was sort of short but it delivered as well. The doggedness and street-ness of this song didn’t end in the verses. Nah, check out what Odumodublvck did with that outro.

Outro

“Anytime I come (Eh, Onazi)

I go push them to the curb (Ayy)

Smack them, push them to the corner

Ekelebe stunner

Guy you remember Onazi?”

It’s a solid 9.1 from us! Oh, and for people who are yet to start resonating with the sound and others who are still indecisive. Well, this is rap and Afro-Drill/Afro Grimes. Stick to Afrobeats until you’re ready to evolve and you’d be just fine.
