

Mawaan Rizwan is a British actor, writer, and comedian of Pakistani origin who started his career as a YouTuber.
Mawaan Rizwan was born on 18 August 1992 (age 30) in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He holds a Pakistani Nationality and His Zodiac sign is Leo. He belongs to the brown ethnicity.
Rizwan was born in Lahore, Pakistan,his mother, Shahnaz, was one of nine siblings who had appeared in a number of Pakistani black-and-white films.
Mawaan and his sister relocated to London in 1994 because their mother wished for a better life for them. Rizwan and his family were threatened with deportation six years later, at the age of eight, but were given indefinite permission to stay after court fights and rallies for the family’s immigration rights. Mawaan Rizwan’s younger brother is Nabhaan Rizwan.
Mawaan Rizwan came out as gay to his traditional Muslim parents when he was 24 years old. He has said that they were unsupportive and that he was taught to repress and conceal his sexuality.

He wanted to investigate what life as a homosexual man would have been like if his family had remained in Pakistan. Mawaan has freely discussed his companion during comedy shows, but he has not disclosed his identity.
At the age of 16, Rizwan began posting videos on YouTube. He gained parts on several broadcast and online programs as a consequence of the recognition he garnered for them. Mawaan started playing the lead role in the children’s news parody comedy series DNN: Definitely Not Newsround in 2013, which was nominated for a BAFTA award. He co-starred with Oli White and Jimmy Hill in the Disney XD UK television series Mega Awesome Super Hacks in 2015.
In 2010, Rizwan’s stand-up comedy career officially got underway when he had his first performance at a Leicester Square basement club. He played at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where reviewers gave his performances in 2018 and 2019 high marks. On behalf of the nonprofit organization Help Refugees, Rizwan took part in the charity event Choose Laughs? in 2018 at the Playhouse Theatre.
