Odogwu (Burna Boy) has paid homage to iconic Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti by performing his ‘Lady’ song for his grandfather during the celebration of his 85th birthday.
The Grammy award winner for Best Global Music Album certainly sent his grandfather, Benson Idonije to a different altogether for the overall performance he put up to honour him at his birthday. The birthday bash reportedly took place on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
Benson Idonije is a veteran in the Nigerian entertainment space and once managed Afrobeats pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

The Nigerian Afrobeat powerhouse, who has proudly nicknamed himself African Giant became a Grammy winner at the 63rd edition of the prestigious award.
Right after he got the award finally, the singer took to IG to shower praises on his ‘excellent family’.
