Being the Ogun State Chairman’s address in Abuja to commemorate Democracy Day and Reaffirmation of support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential bid.

Dear Comrades,


I join us all to commemorate and celebrate our Democracy Day as it is a celebration of victory for the Southwest region in particular and All Nigerians in general.

Every June 12, from this year and beyond is going to be a day to Celebrate our Democracy & our Freedom, including the Right to Protest.

But we should be rightly guided, that a country, which allows Unrestricted Protest is a Failed state.
Even in western countries where they claim to be bastions of the free world, you cannot Engage in an uncontrolled Protest.

In the words of Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (Former First Lady of the United States): I quote;
*”The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”*

I started with that because only very few people prior to 2016 believed that Alhaji Yahaya Bello can become Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB).

Today, those few who caught the aspiration, keyed into it and journeyed along are in the driver’s seat of governance of Kogi State. In fact, millions who then saw no hope in the aspiration are now beneficiaries of the divine mandate.

The time for complains and street protests is over, this is the time to get involved in political activities that would enable us as youths to take charge of the affairs of our dear mother land through Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello come 2023.

If you doubted him prior to 2016, This is another opportunity to be a part of history as the same God that made ALHAJI become GOVERNOR is in the process of making the GOVERNOR become PRESIDENT.

Before you ask me not to bring God into Politics, kindly note that nothing happens without the will of Allah the Almighty.

We at Afenifere for Collective Transformation ably led by our Director General, Prince Tolu Ajayi strongly believes that Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB) SHALL become President Yahaya Bello (PYB) come 2023 Insha Allah and the choice to join the train NOW is yours to make.

We have done enough Soro Soke on various social media platforms, it’s now time to walk the talk and the time to act is now.
